Account Executive

The ideal candidate for this position is an “A Player,” a self-starter, entrepreneur, subject matter expert and proven overall leader that has vast sales experience with the following qualities:

  • Hands-on experience selling SaaS solutions to accounting firms in a B2B environment or experience selling accounting software
  • A successful record of accomplishment in implementing and reporting on sales strategies in the SMB SaaS B2B space
  • Ability to identify, negotiate with and close accounting firm clients
  • Experience as a self-starter in a start-up type environment
  • The ability to overcome objections and barriers raised by potential clients to convert them into early adopters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer sales strategies to accounting firms
  • Campaign management and reporting through Pardot, Jira, Salesforce CRM and other sales automation platforms
  • Identify, nurture and close accounting firm clients
  • Multiple outbound calls/contacts per day to accounting firms
  • Schedule no less than five product demos per week
  • Respond to inbound clients from the company’s marketing activities
  • Become an expert in value positioning the product to accounting firms
  • Contribute to marketing content for email messaging as well as the website
  • Travel to client sites as needed to close deals
  • Stay up to date with new trends
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization

Experience and Key Attributes

  • 7+ years’ experience in sales in the SMB SaaS B2B space for accounting firms

Senior Database Software Developer

Qvinci Software is seeking an experienced database software developer to work on our Qvinci products. This is a full-time position located in Austin, TX. The ideal applicants have a proven record of accomplishment in the design, development, and operation of high availability, highly scalable cloud applications and services. A thorough understanding of database and software development best practices is essential coupled with a desire to work with the latest technology in a fast-paced team oriented environment.

Responsibilities & Skills

  • Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server 2012 and later, SQL, T-SQL including multi-tier scalable architectures, design patterns, object-oriented programming, and ORM
  • Strong knowledge of C# and the Microsoft .NET platform
  • Work with a development team in an Agile Scrum environment
  • Experience with a high performance commercial application using Amazon RDS highly desirable
  • Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, coding, unit test, and bug support
  • Proven ability to develop and support large scale web/database applications
  • Able to create and propose solutions to complex problems
  • Able to work in all tiers of the application high desirable
  • Able to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines
  • Able to communicate clearly with business users and project manager
  • Interpret business requirements into database design and tasks definitions

Qualifications & Related Experience

  • Development and/or devops experience in cloud database services, multi-tier database implementations, database performance analysis & tuning, and database design
  • Languages: SQL/T-SQL, C#
  • Environment: JIRA, Confluence, Stash, Bamboo, Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio, Amazon RDS, and Amazon EC2
  • Experience with NHibernate preferred
  • Strong with .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, & ADO.NET
  • 5+ years of professional experience with MS SQL Server 2012 or later, stored procedures, and ORM
  • Four-year accredited college or university degree in Computer Science or similar field
