Business Intelligence Dashboard Panes

Panes are the basic containers for everything in Qvinci® business intelligence dashboard software. They hold charts, spreadsheets, triggers, etc... Panes are usually contained in a page. You can drag most of them around with your mouse. 

 

Add a new pane

Under the Folders and Pages tab click New Pane.  Drag the floating pane where you would like it.

 

Delete a pane

Simply click the X at the top right hand corner of the pane.  This option is not available in Qvinci® OneTouch. 

 

Remove a graphic from the pane 

Simply right click on the graphic you would like removed and then choose Delete.

Click OK.

 

Move a pane

Click and hold the header title bar of the pane you would like to move. You can now drag the pane where you would like to place it. When you drag the pane one arrow on each edge of the page pops up. If you place your mouse over one of these arrows it will move the pane to that side of the page. (See Fig. 1)

 

If you place your mouse over one of the other panes a small compass will appear.  (See Fig. 2)  This compass has four arrows and by placing your mouse over any of those arrows it will place your pane on that side relative to the pane the compass appeared in.
