An Overview

The Diocese of Austin serves approximately 700,000 Catholics across 126 parishes, missions, and university centers. With over 225 priests, 400 deacons, and numerous lay ministers, the diocese supports both the spiritual and practical needs of its community, including 20 Catholic schools that supplement catechetical formation.

Challenge

Chancery staff at the diocese, including Ms. Ione Voor, Director of Parish Services, faced obstacles in financial management due to the time and effort required to manually gather and consolidate data from parish, church, school, and cemetery locations. This process reduced staff productivity and delayed access to vital financial information that leaders needed for effective decision-making.
